COLD Ready New Album, Tour
February 12, 2003COLD are gearing up for a short club tour to preview their forthcoming album, "Year of the Spider", due April 29 on Flip/Geffen Records. The album's first single, "Stupid Girl", features an appearance by WEEZER frontman Rivers Cuomo. The WEEZER singer co-wrote the song with COLD vocalist Scooter Ward, and also sings background vocals. COLD will launch a two-week trek March 2 in Hartford, Conn.
Among the tracks set to appear on "Year of the Spider" are the following:

07. Kurt
As previously reported, "Year Of The Spider" was recorded in part at Bay 7 Studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Howard Benson (SEPULTURA, P.O.D., SKINDRED) and will contain additional guest appearances from NONPOINT singer Elias Soriano and DOLLSHEAD's Sierra Swan.
COLD's 2000 album "13 Ways to Bleed on Stage" peaked at No. 98 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 467,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
